Texas is the richest athletic program in the country by a fair amount. Since money is no object, why don't the Longhorns start a wrestling program? There are 253 HS wrestling teams in Texas, and it would be a huge boon to those kids if the Longhorns had a program.The Aggies have a club team, I believe, so they have one up on you guys in that regard.

Granted, Texas would be the whipping boy in the Big 12 for years to come in wrestling, but eventually they'd become a powerhouse. Texas having a program would inspire hundreds of High Schools to create teams, and eventually a flourishing wrestling system could happen down there. I'm linking an article about Texas HS wrestling.
