DGB to visit Austin this weekend?
Looks like it's going down. Likely a short stay, but getting DGB to campus is a big step. Of course, Texas will have to make a strong impression quickly because DGB has already made four trips to Norman and knows the Oklahoma program well. -- GoBR--

Orangebloods
Apparently orangebloods has confirmed this through multiple sources. At least that’s what the said in the text I received earlier this morning. Pretty exciting if true.

Interesting development
Sooners are keeping their fingers, legs, and eyes crossed hoping that 2011 Five Star WR Trey Metoyer can pass his classes at Tyler Junior College and qualify to enroll for the fall.
If so, perhaps DGB will decide that he doesn’t need to follow the top WR recruit from the prior year who will also have a year of experience on him. DGB is so good that he could probably compete for time no matter what, but the Sooners are stacked at WR and if they don’t get a good qb (Kiel is still pondering b/n OU and Bama) it may be enough to move DGB toward stud QB Conner Brewer and the good guys in orange.
Don't be such a baby.

That made me feel smart. Thanks for that.

Don't go to their site if you want to live to tell about it
They keep wanting to talk about VY’s wonderlic score and I don’t even know what that is.

I don't think DGB is going to be worried about competing for time...
From what I’ve seen, he will be the No. 1 option at WR wherever he goes about as soon as he sets foot on a college campus. It’s not a stretch to say he’s the best WR prospect since Randy Moss.
I think you could argue that a stacked WR corps would actually be a plus. Defenses that focus on rolling coverage his way or jamming him at the line would pay the price.

Conner Brewer throwing to DGB
Could that be one of cellege football’s all-time greatest QB/WR tandems? Can’t wait to find out.

I'd love to see White really step up
He’s a kind of quiet guy, but we need to see him bring it

Just wondering
What are the numbers between how many wide outs Texas has put into the Nfl vs how many OU has.
I remember Mack once saying texas has the highest number of people in the nfl out of all colleges so I imagine we could have the edge but I really dont know.
Ill do the research later. Just wondering if anyone knew a rough estimate.

As of last year
Texas had the most players in the NFL…Since there is no NFL right now, I’m not sure where we stand. The numbers I saw of Texas being number 1 was overall players, not by position. That would be interesting. I’m sure OU beats in OL numbers….at least I would think so.

I think that's a safe assumption on the OL
However, WR is probably pretty close (going off memory). They’ve had some really good ones in recent years. As have we.
it's basically shipley, cosby, and willams now, right?
I don’t think Thomas is in the league anymore. I think OU has Kelly, Iglesias, Clayton, and maybe a couple of others.

Finley is a TE, and I believe he's speaking of Sloan Thomas..
..b/c David Thomas is a TE for the Saints.

Yes, I was talking about Sloan, who i believe played briefly for the Bills.
I don’t think any other Texas WRs have made it to the NFL since McGarity, except maybe BJ Johnson on a camp roster or something
