Stafford and Green Sign

No surprises here. Cole Green allegedly gets $100,000 from the Reds, so his extra year in Austin cost him roughly $100,000. Sam Stafford, on the other hand, gets a reported $400,000 from the Yankees, so his three years in Austin nets him a hefty sum of cash. Congrats to them both.

What do you think of this about Bundy signing with a JUCO in OK? He is asking for big money (as he should) and Angelos, the O’s owner, is known for being cheap.

100% bluff

No way Bundy’s coming to Texas. The JUCO route enables him to go pro (I think) after just one year of college vice three, so it’s clearly a move designed to give him more leverage in negotiations with the Orioles.
