a&m "tired of texas"
I for one am so tired of the whining from college station these days and yet it still continues. How are they being treated unfairly? They were included in dividing up the blood money from CU and NU when they left between UT, OU and a/m but yet they think we have an unfair advantage. This is the equivalent of crying and taking your ball home but in this case a/m isn't very good and they are simply crying. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

I just heard some whiner call in to 104.9 saying the same things
tired of Texas, tired of being pushed around, etc… the level of obsession many of them seem to have with us is pathetic. But I’m not saying anything that hasn’t been said here either. Get over it aggie, even oklahoma isn’t bitching about it.
I’ve yet to hear a single one of them say they’d turn down $300 mil if they had the ability to draw a contract like that.
I wish I could play little league now... I'd kick some fuckin' ass.
I think it is hilarious how
if you go over to the aggies site, i am the 12th man, there are hundreds of comments on articles/posts about the LHN, realignment, or going to the SEC, but when a post with notes about the first day of fall practice it only garners 3 comments.
Sally, will you meet me at the airport?
If you look through the thread
it was really only 6 – 10 people who actually commented over and over again. It’s as if beergut cloned himself so he could talk to another person with the same moron colored glasses; this is something he actually does – opens a thread and talks to himself.

QB Garrett Gilbert was the Beavis & Butthead episode of the 2010 college football season. Even when things were going well there was always one bad decision that meant he wasn’t going to score.

There's something oddly poetic
in a post-modern sort of way, about staring at that video..

Oh "Whatever",,
I’ve been tired of them for more than half of my life and they’re still around. They just need to actually grow a set and shut up about it.
There is not a situation or individual that cannot be improved by the addition of chocolate.
Double Standard
I remember last summer when it was rumored that we would be leaving the Big 12, the agros cried and said it would never happened because of the state legislation; that we were effectively tied to the hip. However, now they can automatically pass GO and receive $200 whenever they want. Arrogant bastards, time to pony up and put your money where your mouth is.

Playing the Villian
It is one thing for Texas to be the big bad killer of the conference, running out west with their marry band of allies, leaving the poor and defenseless behind. But if it is the Aggies who make the first move they are heroes for standing up to Texas.
Why would Aggies want the SEC?
Aggies won national titles in multiple sports last year, shared Big 12 South crown and have beaten Texas 3 out of 5 … probably soon to be 4 out of 6 years now, in football. They’ll get creamed in SEC West. Maybe it really is all about money.
"Excuse me while I whip this out."
I think you're overrating the SEC

I expect A&M to be a mediocre SEC school
but when I think about it they are a mediocre Big 12 school, so what is the difference?
#3/4 In a conferance
Is a hell of a lot better then # 3/4 in a division. As it is now in Big XII, and i know we had an off year last year, Its OU and Texas at the top, then the Little brothers fighting it out for the 3rd spot.
In SEC West Aggies will have, Bama, Auburn and LSU ontop of them. And they have to fight it out with the pigs for the 4/5 spot. Then there are the teams in the East who are also better.
Auburn won't always be on top of them
Auburn’s not a perennial power. Heck, Bama and LSU really haven’t been perennial powers either. Both rose under Saban. LSU is fading a little under Miles, and I expect that to continue.

I just heard the updates from Chip Brown..
regarding Dodds recent Q&A at luncheon yesterday…..Dodds mentioned nobody complains that Texas High School 7 on 7 competitions occur on A&M’s home field every summer. Also Dodds mentioned that if A&M left and rest of Big 12 has no desire to stay intact that Notre Dame & Texas could potentially form their own league.
Um, just wow.
I will sat I am intrigued
by the idea of having Notre Dame and Texas be the base of a conference, with the addition of Oklahoma, that’s a lot of history right there. Very nteresting
Sally, will you meet me at the airport?
the mere fact Dodds mentioned this to the media & public says a lot...
you would have to believe the idea has already been discussed at length with Notre Dame (say last summer).
It definitely intrigues me as well. I also think its curious Dodds didn’t mention Notre Dame would fill the spot by A&M under this scenario. That also makes me think Notre Dame isn’t interested in some of the teams currently in the big 12, and would want some serious input on the teams under a new conference w/ Texas.
