Midnight EST Deadline for MLB Draft Signings
Matt Dean, a 13th round pick of the Toronto Blue Jays, got things going by signing for an alleged $750,000 bonus (well above slot). Further updates as they appear in the thread to minimize the disruption to Aggy bashing.

I just saw this a mlb.com
and was hoping you would get post going. With the Rangers in Anahiem, I would be up to watch the signings (or hopfully the non-signings) of Bell and Bundy but now that I am up at 5 to work out it will be early to bed for me. Praying when I wake up, I will be happy with a Ranger victory and a set of killer B’s set to go in Burnt Orange next year.
Also praying Bradley gets signed by DBacks
and stays away from Norman.

And...silence
Were things this quiet last year at this time? I feel like more players had signed

Not that I've seen
Silence on all fronts for the most part. Hopefully something will break in the next hour or two on some of the less major players

Heard both that he has and has not signed
More of the former.

How did he go so low
Then get such a big bonus? If he was signable and so highly coveted, why not drafted higher?
Nationals with Strasburg/Harper/Rendon/Purke…dirty.

Was hurt most of last year
So many teams scared off. Plus has two years of eligibility left so easily could go back if he did not get his money

Just want to note:
We got Sam Stafford back. I think that is pretty awesome.
Too bad about Bell though. Good luck to him.
I wish I could play little league now... I'd kick some fuckin' ass.
Mixed night for the Horns
Damn about Bell, although for a reported $5 mil I can’t blame him for going, but he would’ve been the best offensive talent we’ve seen under Augie. The Pirates kill the Horns again! The good news is that Texas gets Stafford back, plus Dillon Peters and Ricky Jacquez make it to the 40 Acres, both of which are major league talents.
Early guess on next year’s team: slightly worse on the mound, slightly better offensively

I'm sure you all saw that Dylan Bundy signed with the O's
I’m a Cardinals fan by birth, but I’ve had fun getting involved with the O’s. Looks like I’ll get to see him in a different shade of orange.
QB Garrett Gilbert was the Beavis & Butthead episode of the 2010 college football season. Even when things were going well there was always one bad decision that meant he wasn’t going to score.
