You already had a decent start time, but you insisted on more. You could have been a part of a unified starting time where everyone was fat and happy but you had too much greed. Forget tradition right? Kansas and Missouri have had football games before 7pm since 1891... Nebraska and Missouri since 1892... blah blah blah doesn't matter. You want your own start time right?

Who cares if everyone in your conference has a problem with you broadcasting the game on your network. You can do whatever you want. You're Texas... remember? If anyone doesn't like it they can leave, and if $#!+ really hits the fan you can always just go independent. Who cares if you blow up a conference in the process? You should start your own conference called the CTSTC aka "Change The Start Time Conference". Or maybe hook up with Notre Dame in the WLTCTSTOEC aka "We Like To Change The Start Time On Everyone Conference"

6pm was doing just fine before you came along, and now It wish you never had.

This issue really shouldn’t be taken lightly. Starting an hour later? you just increased the chance of me over-drinking and not making it to my seats exponentially. And not to mention, I now have an hour less to drink after the game! What’s next, you start checking the cowboy boots of the girls in my group for flasks? jerks.
