Kansas-Texas to air on Longhorn Network

Only minutes after revealing the agreement with Grande Communications to distribute the Longhorn Network, ESPN followed up with the announcement that the Jayhawks have agreed to move the Kansas-Texas game to the Longhorn Network. It's a much more palatable option than moving the BYU game next week to the network, as it allows ESPN nearly two months to secure more distribution deals. The move was approved by commissioner Dan Beebe and an interesting facet of the agreement is that select regional stations in Kansas will be able to broadcast the game, which could be key to securing conference games for the network in the future.
