Mack Brown's Curse brings Snow to Eugene instead of TJ
Poor WR Thomas Johnson from Skyline. He de-commits from Texas and ends up in the deep end of a snow drift.
His poor cousin went from OU to A&M. Talk about a dumb move and I hate the Sooners. But, clearly OU is the better football program.
Maybe it is time for TJ to reconsider and join his ole TGOD.

Sounds like Johnson will visit A&M
and could end up there with Harris. Wonder how Bralon Addison would feel about that, as both have similar skill sets, but I think Johnson is a better prospect because he’s a little bit faster and has a little bit better size.

Addison made his commit official the other day
So, maybe that was a little tactic for Addision to get off the fence and make it a solid verbal.
Do we hve any chance at getting TJ back?
We're Texas, We're not OK.
Could you remind me again
Why exactly did TJ decommit from UT and how likely is it that he re-commits? Does that affect Peter Jinkins at all or even the 2013 WR (Ra’shaad Samples?) out of Skyline?
Mystery
But rumors were swirling that he and his cousin Harris were involved with another rogue street agent type guy (ie, Willie Lyles). Harris was very solid OU (even shaved it in his hair awhile back) and TJ was a solid UT even at the all star game.
It was a shock to UT and OU both when they both de-committed at the same time. I’m not bitter and kids can de-commit prior to signing day, but this was done very professionally and he was clearly saying he was solid UT while at the same time clearly playing behind our backs. The questionis with whom he was playing. InsideTexas (Jesus Shuttleworth) implied it was with “trouble” . It is all just rumor and speculation. But, it may be that he hooked up with a person that Texas wanted no part of as well. The only answer I have is it is a mystery but strange. Hopefully someone else has more inside scoop.

it is Texas Gang or Die
and it was started pretty early on by the 2012 recruiting class. I think Nike even made “Texas Gang or Die” shirts around the time of The Opening. Its based of the Taylor Gang or Die used by Wiz Khalifa and his crew.
TJ continues to bad mouth the program...
Thomas Johnson tweeting to current UT commit Peter Jinkens:
Tee_Johnson3 Thomas Johnson
@SUMBODYSTOP_7 u kno them horns be lowkey spyin on a young goon
It might be a harmless tweet, but still, TJ seems to have something against UT now. Of course, Peter earlier said:
I WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE FOR MY TWEETS AND FROM THIS DAY FORWARD I WILL SHOW RESPECT AND HONOR FOR THE LONGHORN NAME…..HOOK’EM \m/
Anyways, I think it is now OKAY to hate TJ!

"lowkey spyin"
Texas has made it clear that we will not tolerate street agents. So, if he thinks we are spying on him because he may be hanging out wtih a Will Lyles type street agent that may be shopping his services this would make perfect sense and he can kiss my big white behind. And, he may have had his schollie Yanked instead of a de-commit because just like Homey the clown, Mack Brown don’t play that game. TJ may have f*d up big time.
Rumor is UT and OU were passing info to the NCAA on Harris and TJ and maybe the NCAA will take us more seriously now that we were right on the Temple RB and Lyles at UO.
And, I really think Texas will pursue a change in the Texas Legislature to make it a criminal offense for a person to jeopardize a Texas high school athlete’s NCAA eligibility. TJ is too young and dumb to realize that this “coach/mentor” does not have his back. It could be just like how the Temple RB got played by Lyles (though LS clearly knew the score). The more these “camps” pop up in Texas trying to get in tight with elite talent the more we will fight back to stop them.
We're Texas, We're not OK.
And, Oregon may have backed off him
They are under the gun from Lyles, so the last thing they would want is a TJ with baggage of another possible street agent. TJ better keep his eligibility clean!!!
We're Texas, We're not OK.
Jinkens tweeted that all-caps quote?
What did he say earlier that he felt warranted an apology?

Yea I'm curious about that myself.
But for whatever reason, the all caps just makes it sound hilarious to me.
It is all speculation and rumor at this point,
but even if just a bit of it were true, I’m glad we are keeping our nose clean. Tweets like the ones he is putting out there just reinforce my attitude about him. Later bro!
