It was quite the run that Texas had with FSU commit Christo Kourtzidis, the tight end from California who receive an in-home visit from Major Applewhite on Tuesday night, decided Wednesday that he would visit Texas, then decided Thursday that he would not be making the trip after all. Score one for Jimbo Fisher and the Florida State coaching staff, who likely worked since Tuesday to keep Kourtzidis from visiting Austin and apparently managed to do so prior to an in-home visit Thursday evening. So that's that for that, leaving Mesquite Horn tight end Vincent Hobbs as the only remaining target at the position. Hobbs will be visiting Austin this weekend, but it's not clear at this time whether or not he will receive an offer.
