Bracketology (1/23/11)

Right now Texas is in the "First Four Out". If you ask me, this is good news, seeing how we are somehow very close to getting in despite a really mediocre resume. This tells me we are only a couple of quality wins in the Big XII away from avoiding bubble team status.

A Good run in the NIT

could go a long way in developing the younger guys, I don’t think it would be that bad of a thing as long as they get to the semi finals or finals. It could also be used as motivation for next year’s team.

I'd take the tourney over the NIT any day

Something exciting about seeing your name pop up on Selection Sunday, pondering the matchups and what could happen if things break your way. But even if we are one and done, I want to be with the “big boys,” not the also-rans in the consolation bracket….
