Perhaps the rumors of Case McCoy telling players he's transferring are legit.....
that’s really the only reason I can see this unfolding.
That, or perhaps the staff thinks it'd be easier to win with Wallace than with Ash or McCoy
Wallace could be brought in to be the backup, but I’d think he’d sooner take an offer that would include a better chance of starting. If the coaches and Wallace don’t both agree that there’s a good opportunity for him to beat out Ash, he’s probably going to end up at Baylor, Indiana, or Mississippi State.

Sounds like just what the OCs ordered
Bo Wallace will be visiting Texas in the near future and the Longhorns are moving straight to the top of the list if they’re interested.
If the others don’t want to compete let them move on because they will never be a winner.
Brewer wants to take a shirt and will be fine with being the backup for a year if he knows that then he will havea shot at starting.
