Why Mack Brown deserves our loyalty (if you are a fool you are probably clamoring for the next coach, whether it is a Kirby Smart or Chris Peterson)

Mack Brown has been to the National Championship 2 times, winning once. Neither of his quarterbacks ever one a Heisman, or went on to be the best NFL players at their positions. One was a 3 star recruit, the other all world. Both are natural leaders. Other coaches have head better (though none that even equal Young Vincent Young) QB's than ours for over a decade. Please don't get me going on Applewhite, I love a gamer but eh.. Simms was good but a choker who wilts under pressure. Compare these qb's to who Meyer has, imagine Colt not getting injured and ask yourself, "what the fuck is wrong with me"

It has not been three full season since UT barely missed out on NC win number 2 before eventually crashing horribly. Mack's last two D coordinators have gone on to win a NC, and the other in just his second season has his team at #2 in the BCS standings as of today and a perfect 6 and 0. Mack can still bring in the recruits and coaches he wants. Literally, he gets his pick. We had numerous OU beat-downs in early 2000's (albeit a weaker Big 12) before going on to recruit extremely well and eventually get the OU monkey off our backs in the Vince Young era. In Mack's 13 full seasons Mack has been in two National Championship games. With repeat team appearance by several schools and such , (no stats in front of me) I take it as us being one of 20-22 teams to play for national titles in Mack's tenure and obviously he has one 1.

He runs a clean program, we just had the most brutal strech of the schedule find your muff and shave your bush whiny babies. It is a long season so man up and support you coach.

Alright, go ahead an bithch away!
