I saw this discussion over at IT and it sparked a good debate, so I thought I would bring it here and see what you guys thought.

Would you guys like to bring the spread back to Texas, rather than this "pro-style" type of offense that we currently run?

Our recruiting hotbed is full of kids that play the spread, from offensive lineman to kickers. We have recruited players like Daje, Sanders, Monroe, Goodwin, Shipley, McFarland, etc etc that all fit the spread theme better. We have a QB that can run (which lends to the Spread more than a pro-style offense). Most importantly, we were winning with the spread.

Now, I fully admit, the O is/has not been our problem, and I don't necessarily agree with the points above, I'm just throwing them out there.

What do you guys think? Stick with the pro-style offense? Go back tot he Spread? Why?
