I haven't checked the OU fansites, but I imagine there's a lot of angst there about tackling. WVU made their secondary -- especially their vaunted safety Tony Jefferson -- look foolish and exposed poor tackling technique. Sound familiar? I missed most of Baylor-KSU but I imagine the KSU sites are similar.

ND is now our shining hope to avoid a Bama-LSU rematch in the NCG. Get your golden helmets on boys -- think of it as cheering against USC instead of for the Irish if you must. Regardless of the national press opinion, Cierre Wood is the guy who will get them there more than anyone except Teo. Watch for him.

Texas has a real chance to win the Big XII and go to a BCS bowl -- and do it by winning a tiebreaker over OU! If we win out -- and I'm not saying that's not a huge if -- and OU loses to Okie St, we probably win the 4-way round robin tiebreaker despite some unpleasantness in Dallas in October, based on being higher in the BCS rankings. Short of destroying them on the field, this is the revenge for 2008 I've been looking for. Not bad for a team that ranks around the 10th best of Mack's time here -- and barely deserves to be in the top 20.
