The Longhorns open Maui Invitational tournament play versus host school Chaminade.
AWiggo and I are on hand here in Hawaii for the 2012 Maui Invitational, getting ready to head down to the Lahaina Civic Center to catch the Longhorns' opening round game against host school Chaminade. I have no idea whether the Silverswords are any good this year, but the island -- plus all the fans of other teams in the tournament -- will be behind them, so we'll be even more outnumbered than usual.
Tonight's game tips at 8:30 pm CT and will be televised on ESPNU, so fans without the Longhorn Network can tune in and get their first look at the team.
