The Big 12 Champion, Texas Volleyball team, goes for an undefeated Big 12 season tonight in Ames. Sunday Nov 25th at 3pm on ESPNU they learn which teams will be sent to Austin for the 1st and 2nd rounds and Regionals.

It is highly likely that the first renewal of the Longhorn - Aggie rivalry will happen on the volleyball court this coming Friday, November 30th. A&M is right on the cusp of being awarded a subregional host site, but with only 16 teams receiving that benefit and their ranking being no higher than 17 it looks like they will not host. With geographic proximity driving subregional pairings rather than seeding, A&M is looking at being sent to Austin.

We really need Texas fans to buy up tickets in the event this pairing does happen.
