First, let me sy that I bleed burnt orange, have a great deal of respect for players like Okafor and Ash, and I give full credit to those who try and for the current coaches at keeping the program clean. Having said that, every day the team continues under Mack Brown, with program-defining losses, competes with no intensity, talks of the game they just played as "product" (though we know it is, any 20-something kid talking product after a loss is providing insight into a screwed up program), etc. it is unbearably painful to me as my burnt orange blood boils. So, until Mack is replaced, this is how I am wearing my Longhorn gear:
I think if thousands of fans start walking around with black bars over the logos reflecting mourning at the state of the program, then it will accelerate change. Electrical tape is perfect for this. And to those of you who think this somehow makes me not a friend of the program well, at least you have the right to an opinion.
