I hear reports that Mack Brown has become more instrumental in coaching the defense since the OU debacle. If this is true, we all need to step back a minute and take a look at the job that has been done over the past couple of weeks. The Texas D has turned in 2 pretty good performances against Kansas and Tech. Granted, a good defensive performance against the Jayhwaks is nothing to brag about, but, the effort against Tech was the most complete game we've seen from a much scrutinized Texas defense. I'm not saying Mack gets Coach of the Year honors for it, but, the trend is positive, to say the least.
