Torshiro Davis Spurns LSU & Signs With Texas

In a morning signing ceremony at his high school with family and friends in attendance, Torshiro Davis donned a white ball cap with a prominent, embroidered burnt orange HORNS and announced his commitment to Texas.

Defensive Line coach Bo Davis has been recruiting this highly ranked Shreveport recruit since he was at Alabama. Reports indicated that Torshiro's football coach texted Texas pay site information traders last night but requested secrecy on the pick. Some pay sites leaked the information that the signing day flip was possible.

In the end, Texas is able to shore up a defensive end position with much needed backup given the possible attrition schedule in upcoming seasons.

Congratulations to Torshiro Davis. T.G.O.D.

Happier with Davis than DGB

Not that he is a better prospect – but he is a better fit for our team. We do not have an edge speed rusher in the underclass ranks. WR much less of a need with the RBs in the stable.

I remember

According to reports at the banquet, Toshiro seemed to be the most reserved and reports were that he was the least likely to sign with us. And now this. Excellent job by the coaching staff.
