Happy NSD Aggies!!!!

Congratulation on taking a top 20 class (15 Rivals/13 247/15 ESPN/20 Scout) and signing a few star players including 4* QB Matt Davis, 5* RB Trey Williams, and former Longhorn commit *4 WR Thomas Johnson. However please stop claiming that yall pulled one over on us by getting TJ, and that the move to the SEC is helping yall's recruiting. That is just ridiculous. I get that its been a crazy year for yall but come on, 20 decommits! Is that a record? Here's my list, feel free to dispute it, but trust me I checked everyone of these out.

Left under Sherman (7)
Lorenzo Phillips 4 star (LSU)
Davante Bourque 4 star (Tenn)
Denzel Devall 4 star (Bama)
Eric Davis 3 star (Okie St)
Jerald Hawkins 3 star (LSU)
Trevor Knight 4 star (OU)
Marcus Johnson 3 star (Texas)

Left under Sumlin (5)
Colin Blake 4 star (FSU)
Darion Monroe 4 star (Tulane)
Corey Thompson 3 star (LSU)
Michael Wilson 3 star (Okie St)
Bralon Addison 4 star (Oregon)

Will not qualify academically (8) per TexAgs
Marion Grice 4 star (AZ St)
Eddie Porter 3 star (Ark St)
Adrian Bellard 3 star (Texas St)
Dennis Smith 3 star
Logan David 3 star
Jaevon Richardson 3 star
Trent Momon 3 star
Troy Green 3 star

Now I don't have a clue how yall can recruit 8 players that don't qualify, but even without them yall still had 12 decommits. Sure go ahead and be proud with your "AgSwag" but please stop trying to justify how in some roundabout way yall are better than us or that ESPN is secretly downgrading Ag recruits as punishment for leaving the Big 12.

Thanks,

TowerPower

Pooooooooooooooor Aggies

it’s going to be long year in the SEC and no turkey in Texas.

Recruiting Texas just got harder for the Aggies.

haha Texags is pissed over one of their guys decommitting and going to Oregon

“F*** him. I’ll be hoping Oregon goes 0-12 and gets NCAA sanctions out the ass.

Word is the price was $50,000. A couple of Oregon buddies I have, one of whom used to play for them, told me they were made aware that Bralon’s family was being offered cash all last weekend."

now they are making stuff up

It's not that I think that Oregon doesn't have all kinds of shadiness in their recruiting

But the coincidental connections and rumor-mongering are preposterous.

Their class is still nothing to sneeze at

Especially with a coaching change, I’m surprised they kept as many as they did. But it would have been a better class if they’d kept Sherm. Good luck getting an Aggie to admit that.

This from the coach of the aforementioned Tulane-bound recruit:

When Mike Sherman was at Texas A&M, Tulane would not have had a shot. When he left, it changed everything.

Regardless, I wish all the Future Aggies of America only the best. They’re someone else’s problem now.

And I stand by my statement from earlier in the day: I think Mizzou will out-perform Aggie in the SEC — this season and beyond.

have fun...

…with a 17 year old that apparently has Mack Brown and the Texas coaching staff figured out. Most 17 year olds have usually got it figured out but this kid appears to be ahead of the curb…hes already tweeting talking trash about a school that did nothing but offer him a free education, sounds really intelligent…take him aggies, we don’t NEED him nor do we WANT him…hey TJ, you haven’t don’t anything yet dude, keep your dumbass mouth shut and enjoy the 40 point beatings LSU, Bama, Arkansas and Auburn will be handing you for the next century….POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR AGGIES!!!!!

I'm sorry, but it sounds like OP still can't let go of the Aggies

I haven’t thought about the farmers since their bowl game, and that’s only because I had money on it. But here you are, actually creating a post to “talk” to/about them. Why? Why bring them up at all?

Let it go, man. They’re gone. Good riddance.

Out of sight, out of mind.

Because we're Texas and we're evil. DUH.

Have you ever seen 20 decommits?

The fact that every commentary about the Aggie recruiting class specifically mentions that they stole a kid from ole t.u. is ridiculous, nobody talks about us stealing Marcus Johnson from them, and like I wrote up top, the SEC didn’t help them do anything either…

Little brother is always funny to laugh at. For better for worse the Ags will still be around and they are still our foe in the recruiting arena, so feel free not to care, but the title of this post clearly referenced A&M, so why did you even click on it?

Because it's sad, dude. For you.

I mean, you went through all that trouble to research and list all those details in the post.

They’re gone. Let it go.

Because we're Texas and we're evil. DUH.

not really

got it off TexAgs and found it interesting, and yeah they’re gone but we still recruit against them so this is relevant…

While it wasn't the class they expected...

…agricultural still finished up with a reasonably good class, especially given the coaching change. I’m not too quick to give Sumlin that much credit, but they seemed to make up for a lot of the players lost to decommitments, and still finished with a top twenty class. Not “Texas good”, but not shabby.

Sort of like posting other stories about your own team's out-of-season football program, but ignoring the previous night's loss to Texas?

or coming over to a Texas blog...

to tell them that they care to much about your school…hypocritical no?

Sorry, replying to a post that calls out fans of my school isn't being hypocritical

Taking the time to research how many decommitments a school has that you won’t be playing in any sport, particularly football, and then taking the time to post about your research is caring too much.

Every day is football season

We just don’t happen to have a game this Saturday.
