OU's cheating ways or Twitter Hacker?

Jay Norvell-Tweeting Recruits

Star-divide

Some are saying that Jay Norvell's Facebook and Twitter accounts must have been hacked. Others are saying that this is how he gets to be Big XII Recruiter of the Year. Will be interesting to see what they NCAA says. Of course, as usual, we will know the truth will be the opposite of whatever the NCAA says.

I have to type some more words. So, Happy Mardis Gras. It is 8:34 pm and OU still Sucks!

Weiner-Gate too

The last guy who said his tweets were hacked was whacked. This guy is a Weiner too.

Seems like strange targets

But OU hasn’t come out on the attack to “catch” the person who did it. Probably a UT Alum. LOL

For whatever it's worth

I was initially very skeptical that it was anything other than a hacked Twitter account, but have now come to believe that was not the case. Believe me, I’d like to sit here and have some other excuse but I think the guy just screwed up.

If you’re expecting something serious to come from it however, I think you’ll be disappointed. But if you’re just looking for a chance to call OU “cheaters” or whatever, well then you’ve got more ammo you probably didn’t even need. So enjoy!

When you picture all Oklahomans

As meth cooks living in trailers, who do you picture running the stores so we can buy our meth supplies? C’mon man, we’re not 100% meth cooking trailer dwellers. Some of us live in houses and make meth. Some of us even live in trailers and don’t even make it! I mean, most likely they just buy it… Quit stereotyping us!

Something about the way

you Okies say “cooking meth” all the time makes it sound so damn tasty. Mmmmm. What’s it like?

by BrooklynHorn on Feb 22, 2012 11:36 AM CST up reply actions

Couldn't tell you

What I can tell you, from secondhand experience, is it’s not worth it. I’ve seen it tear apart families, ruin good lives, turn good kids bad, and turn bad kids dangerous and criminal. I’d trust a Sooner hating Horn before I’d ever trust a meth head.

I don't know about all that.

I’ve actually considered getting on the meth diet. I’ve heard that even your teeth lose weight!

QQ Sooner

Went to your site for your take – but you didn’t have anything posted. What do you make of the “internal issues” and dissension inside the OU football program? Are they serious or is this just a wishful burntorange fabrication?

I think I'd have my head in the sand

If I tried to tell you there wasn’t some degree of truth to the rumors, but nowhere near the amount that is being put out there. The source, which I’m sure most of you here know already, is not someone I would ever consider to be reliable and frankly don’t have much respect for. So because of that I’m admittedly very biased to anything that originates from there.

All that said, you don’t lose as many guys as we did, or have the Mario Edwards stuff, or even the rumors (to a certain extent) that have been out there if there isn’t something going on. IMO, I don’t think it was all that disimilar to what Texas went through two years ago with the complacency amongst the program.

Obviously I’m going to want to believe that Stoops has cleaned things up, but only time will tell as you all know better than anyone. This season will be a definite litmus test, but I think two years from now, once Landry is gone, will be the real test to see where this program is and where it might be headed.

Yeah, what's up with this guy?

Why can’t he be stubborn redneck like the rest of us?

I think he misses me

I’ve done my time and been banned from C&C for at least 6 mnths, maybe a year.

I do like how C&C runs. I can get all things Sooner in 1 place.

I knew it!!

It is strange but I have a new sense of Big XII Conference pride. I would never cheer for OU in the past against even an $EC team, but I have had enough of them so I would definitely pull for OU against an SEC team now. I can’t be certain until I’m watching the game, but I think it very likely. It seems it is OU/UT against the $EC world. At least we now have TCU and WVu to help us out.

We're Texas, We're not OK.

by Wrangler86 on Feb 22, 2012 6:06 PM CST up reply actions

I hate myself right now

but I totally agree with you on this. I’d much rather OU win in a game against any SEC team.

You just made my day

I gave up Diet Coke for lent and am really in need of some good news to stay sane.

I was going to give up bashing OU and Aggies, but I wanted to set a realistic goal that I knew I keep for Lent.

Would really hurt if he was barred from contact for a period as a punishment, but probably not much done to him.

Since we're talking all things Sooners here

Other sites (on a teaser for $) is saying that Max Stevenson is the 4 star walk on candidate at Texas. I just did a little searching and Soonersfan.com they are saying Max told them to stop spreading the rumor, it isn’t true.

I don’t know why Texas wouldn’t let Stevenson walk on but I find a schollie unlikely without a year of effort since we didn’t have any interest in him out of HS. He was really the kicker offer from OU to DE Nathan Hughes (not that OU would offer a best friend in hoping to get a 5 star kid—think Rashod Favor/Darius White but joke is on the 5 star kid and us there).

In any event, looking at the coaching changes and transfers out of OU they are clearly a hot mess. Justin McCay (5 star WR) also left and is now at Kansas.

OU has 0 commits right now for 2013. Not that it is a race, but 7 of the top 10 in the country are already committed. Times are changing and top tier kids are making their decisions, and the only types of kids left when the music stops after national signing day are kids like Davonte Neals-what a tool that kid and family are.

We're Texas, We're not OK.

by Wrangler86 on Feb 22, 2012 10:36 PM CST reply actions

I'm okay with this.

I did troll on CCM that the Horns were going to be dynastically good starting in 2010/2011 and that OU would be lucky to get a win or two out of the decade unless they got their act together. BGB needs some tough times in order to help make this happen, albeit a little later than I was projecting.

by Tackchevy on Feb 23, 2012 12:06 PM CST up reply actions

Of course sooner fans heard Max say that

there is no way in hades they want ANY player (even towel boy) switching to Texas. IF the Stevenson rumor is true, he might be quelling the rumors in order to get through the red tape it would take to secure the transfer. Who knows.
