ALL my Austin people...
i now have iHeart radio, i was wondering what channel do the longhorns have shows? what channel and what time does Mack come on? What Austin radio station talks Texas football? Im living in Houston, so talk radio is great, but college wise its too much of a mixed bag. I hear waaaaaaaaayyyyy to many aggies calling in about whatever it is that excites aggies. From what Ive heard from my cousin that lived in Austin for 20 years, there is definitely networks and shows that I can listen to from Austin that will fulfill my Longhorn need. Mack Brown is my hero, a true CEO that knows who and how it works. There were some hilarious rumors about Mack leaving this past year, and frankly they (at the time) scared the hell out of me. Will Muschamp is who I wanted to be our next head coach and look what he did at Florida (i know its a unique situation, i love Boom). HELP A BROTHA OUT!!!!
Listening to Mack talked to Craig Way....i really think Mack could be the next governor of Texas, what a smooth cat. His word about Torshiro made me want to a few jumping jacks..."Torshiro is a lot like Brian (Orakpo) was coming out of high school, except quicker..." WOW!!!!!!!

one thing about me...
im not really a proofreader
a couple stations that are good for longhorns
1)The Zone (UT Official Radio Affiliate), 1300 AM,
Craig Way calls the games on this station, Mack does official interviews and pressers on this station
2)UT football and basketball games are simulcast on 1300 AM and 98.1 FM
3)ESPN radio (national broadcast), 1530 AM
4)ESPN Austin (local affiliate), 90% longhorns sports-talk throughout the day 104.9 FM (called “The Horn”)
104.9 has never impressed me
I live in Houston now though so my radio stations aren’t great. plus, all of the sports talk radio here is filled with moron aggies. I think there is one guy who isn’t a die-hard aggie.
104.9 talks the most in depth about UT fb...
and for 2.99 you can buy the ESPN Radio App and listen to it anywhere you want. The OB guys are corny as hell but they do a good jobs covering all things football (games, pre/post games, pressers, recruiting, realignment, ect) but they are bad talking about basketball/baseball and during the offseason when nothing is happening.
Chip Brown does a good morning show so you get some free orangeblood info from time to time, Chance Mock does the lunch show occasionally and gives good insight, Geoff Ketchum does an okay afternoon show that I listen to when Galloway (103.3 in Dallas) pisses me off.

Houston talk radio..
Its all about Charlie Pallillo in Houston. He is on 790 from 3-7 weekdays. He’s not biased at all towards anyone, he’s a Syracuse guy. Probably one of the best sports talk shows Ive ever listened to. No BS’ing around, or talking about irrelevant stuff…plus the guy is a walking sports almanac…highly recommend his show…but you’re right, only Adam Wexler in the mornings (also on 790) reps the Horns in Htown
