Great...

Can’t catch a break

Wish the guy the best in his recovery

But from a production standpoint, if he is still in 2011 form, then this could be okay. He really struggled after his injury last season.

On the other hand, hopefully someone in the OF steps up. It could give another guy a chance to prove that they are ready for the collegiate level. Since we do play augie ball, one guy in our OF shouldn’t make or break our season. If this was SS, HM, CK, that would be another story.

Big loss though as he was a projected starter, wish him a speedy recovery, and a return to 2010 form.

Augie ball

This guy was our leadoff hitter, the MOST crucial point of Augie ball. Reports were that his bat was coming around very well this offseason, and its a shame. Hopefully the next man up can provide us with the spark.

True

But again, we have no idea how good he was going to be. I guess he was supposed to be our leadoff guy, but I just can’t get 2011 out of my head when I think about him. If he was anything like that, then he is a 7th hitter at best. I think the new bats might have hurt him a good deal, and definitely his injury. Now we’ll just have to wait a year and see

He was 2-14 in Fall Ball

Still, he was a helluva defender and could’ve turned things around this year. I guess this solidifies Payton as the leadoff hitter

Gdmt...get well soon, Cohl.

You will be missed this season. Hope you play again next year.

Really sucks to hear that Koala went down

He seemed like a really good kid when I got his sig at Fan Appreciation Day

Been a rough year to be a horn, geez.

Oh. Aggies, I apologize; I forgot you were there. You may go now.

Having torn my mcl a few weeks ago

These injuries have a whole new meaning to me. Really a terrible feeling.

hate to sound morbid...

but in auggie ball, they will find someone else that can bunt, hit and run, not strikeout much and run well…thats all he recruits…god forbid finding one that does that AND can hit for a little power

He finds them (power hitters) quite fine actually

But a million dollars is hard to pass up for an 18 year old kid playing the sport he loves for a living.
