Linebackers Emmanuel Acho and Keenan Robinson are among four former Texas football players invited to the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine in preparation for April's draft. Defensive tackle Kheeston Randall will also be working out for scouts, but it seems unlikely that running back Fozzy Whittaker will be able to participate as he recovers from the knee injury he incurred courtesy of Faurot Field. The somewhat surprising omission here is offensive lineman David Snow, who was no doubt hoping that a solid performance during the week of practice for the East-West Shrine game would earn him an invite. Players like Snow and safety Blake Gideon, who also played in the East-West game, will have to perform well at the Texas Pro Day to draw interest from NFL teams.
