While I appreciate your enthusiasm,

This was a rather pointless post. It doesn’t even make sense.

Please keep in mind that when you create a new Fanpost or Fanshot, somebody else’s posts get kicked off the front page. Most everybody here will be more then happy to talk Longhorn football with you, but make sure your post is something people can actually talk about and has general merit for good conversation.

Somebody Else?

Really, have you seen the quality of most of the Fan shots? I am happy that you appreciate my enthusiasm, but do you have to just attack me like this? The Fan posts are a bit better than the Fan shots, but the quality of this website is the real site contributors. That’s where the real action is and always will be. I am simple in my thinking. I wanted to write what I was feeling. I had a burst of unmitiagated joy as a Longhorn fan, and I wanted everyone to hear that. I am not clouding up the website with useless posts. I will rarely post here. Is it possible for you to heat a popsicle and relax just a little bit? Popsicles are excellent in the winter as well as in the summer time. It is time for people to leave me be and allow a little bit of flexibility on this forum. I am just enjoying life. It’s a slow time of year. Recruiting is over, spring ball hasn’t yet started, and August is a lifetime away. Junior Day is the only thing coming up. I’m not hurting anyone or anything, and believe me I won’t be making a habit of posting in this manner anyway. I mean, I like to sail in sailing regattas for goodness sakes. It’s not like I have time to sit around and blog anyway. I am happy. You please be happy too. Ok? Thank you very much.

I merely pointed out that this was a post that wasn’t worth taking the time to read or talk about.

There was no personal attack on you. I said what I thought of the post. Pointless. That’s exactly what it was.

Why knock what everyone else is posting anyway? Most of these Fanshots or Fanposts actually have a legitimate chance of starting conversation. Notice how most of them have a plethora of comments…How many did this one have? None, Until I said something.

Furthermore. I don’t care if you post here or not. Nor do I care if you like to sail in sailing regattas. This is an online forum for people to discuss Longhorn Football and other sports alike.

Basically, I think the overall quality is good of your commentary. And sailing is a great thing. I’m not trying to take away from the Horns just pointing out that I won’t be here much. Let’s dance, ok?
