Texas faced a team this weekend in Loyola Marymount that the Horns had to feel good about sweeping. So of course they're relegated to 16 innings of baseball on Sunday. We'll have a seven inning game starting at noon today with a full nine inning game to follow. The ballgames will be on the Longhorn Network for those few of you lucky enough to have the glorious all-orange, all the time smorgasboard. For the rest of us, it's Gametracker available via TexasSports.com or perhaps a radio connection.

The game that was scheduled for today ws expected to be a pitching matchup between Texas' Ricky Jacquez against LMU's Trevor Megill, who is 0-3 so far on the young season but sports a half-decent 4.41 ERA. We'd expect to see Thornhill pitch the second game, but pitching matchups for today's doubleheader haven't been announced yet. Hook 'em!
