Dear BONizens,
I have been reading this blog for five years, since my senior year in college. Since my freshman year I have played for the University of Texas rugby team. Every game I play in I revel in the honor of putting on the burnt orange and playing for my university. After the jump I I would like to let know where UT Rugby currently sits in the rugby world and how you can help.

In XV's rugby we are undefeated, ranked #1 in our division, and are ranked 17th nationally. In 7's rugby we are ranked 20th nationally and we will be competing in the Collegiate Rugby Championship (CRC) in Philadelphia on June 2-3, which will be aired on NBC. We are a club sport at UT, which means we pay to play. We are not given full rides like athletes in other sports. This is you my fair BONizen's come in. In order to compete on the national scale we must sell a certain number of tickets in order to compete in the CRC and to afford to send our team to Philadelphia. If you are unable to make it to the game you are still able to donate. Every ticket bought that is not going to be used will be donated to underprivileged children in Philadelphia so that they can experience the excitement of collegiate rugby. If our team wins our game this weekend we will be going to two different national championships on our own dime, one the CRC in Philadelphia and the other in Wisconsin. At the moment we do not know how we can possibly raise the funds to do this and are trying everything. If you do find it in your heart to donate a ticket using the link below and are not planning on going to the actual event, please leave a comment saying the number of tickets that you bought so that we can give them to the kids in Philadelphia. Also when prompted choose the general admission tickets and will call options.
