So it appears Frank Martin, long a thorn in the side of Longhorn fans, shall no longer torture us. Even more important is the situation K-State is left in. It appears the administration of the Wildcats alienated him to the point where there was minimal effort to keep him from USC and their roster may be in flux (also apparently big-time recruit Robert Upshaw never signed his LOI so that would be a huge loss) . He had an immaculate record in Manhattan (especially against us) and had a winning record in the Tourney so it's safe to assume their next coach will not be as successful as he. While I am sad to see Martin and his fiery temper go I am glad the road to a Big 12 title will be a little bit easier in the future hopefully.
