Med school questions abound...
I know that Texas and UT give high priority to state residents for admittance into medical school. I was wondering if I would be considered an out of state applicant as I now reside in Nebraska even though I grew up in Texas. I have a strong desire to attend UT as I am a life long fan but was never able to attend when younger. Also, does anyone have insight into the actual medical school which I believe is in Galveston and what the campus, facilities, and clinical settings are like?
I know this is a wide array of questions but any PERSONAL insight, whether close friend or self, is appreciated.
Also, if one was a Horn fan would they attend OU's medical school to become a doctor if for some God forsaken reason they were admitted there but not UT-Galveston? (Half joking hah)
Thanks and hook'em!
