As I'm sure you all know, Marquise Goodwin has made the Olympics as a long jumper. They begin their qualification round today at 1:50pm CDT. Marquise is in Group A.
The favorites are Australian Henry Frayne who picked up a silver at the Worlds, however GB athlete Greg Rutherford and Russian Sergey Morgunov are also up there.
The two Americans competing are of course, our own Marquise Goodwin and Will Clay. Medal favorite Dwight Phillips (also of USA) is out due to injury.
Good luck American athletes, and most especially, good luck to our guy Marquise! Hook Em!
