I'm pretty sure The Powers That Be in Longhorn football (Mack Brown, Steve Patterson, Bill Powers, etc.) probably already know and may simply not care enough about the fan sentiment regarding Mack Brown's situation/employment for it to affect their actions. I'm also sure there are hundreds of lurkers on BON/BC who read regularly, but rarely post comments (I would consider myself one of these people), so their displeasure at the apparent unrolling of tonight's events may not be heard. I want to give a simple poll to capture the Longhorn football fanbase's sentiment en masse. Please vote on how you would feel about Mack Brown coaching the University of Texas football team in 2014 and potentially beyond. This is probably as close to a Storming of the Bastille as I can organize against Bellmont. Maybe we can affect change in the realization of the vitriolic and toxic environment Bellmont seems to be willfully wading into (call me an optimist). Or maybe a large portion of the fanbase still supports Mack Brown and my reading of the situation is off.
