Statesman

So I don't know exactly how this works but I live in Ohio and log onto the web site for the Austin American Statesman to check up on the Longhorns. I don't read Austin news or any other feature. Now it seems they want me to buy a subscription? Do I have this right? Stories have a teaser but then you have to log in to read the full story. It is like Hookem.com. So I will just have to get all my longhorn news from my prime source: Burntorangenation.com But now when the Daily Roundup quotes a source from AAS I guess they will need to indicate that it is a pay site. The truth is, I got frustrated before I looked for a cost and am assuming that if I log on, there must be a cost. Did I opt out too quickly?
