Texas-Kansas game set to air on Longhorn Network

Mike DiNovo-US PRESSWIRE

Half of the Texas home games this season will be on the LHN.

The third and final Longhorn Network game for the 2013 season was announced on Monday morning -- Texas will play Kansas on the school's flagship network.

Set for a 2:30 pm kick off time on November 2, the contest against the Jayhawks was long pointed to as the most likely game for the network to pick up, especially since it was the same game in 2011 that marked the first Big 12 telecast for LHN in its first year. For Kansas fans concerned about being able to see the game, the Jayhawk Television Network will have it in Kansas and Kansas City.

In addition to the Kansas game, the Longhorn Network will also televise the opener against New Mexico State on August 31 and Ole Miss on September 14.
