Just curious here, but why haven't we thought about David Shaw as a viable replacement for Mack Brown? The guy has some NFL coaching experience. He was under Jim Harbaugh for years, and he's proven that he's some sort of QB whisperer. Since taking over after Harbaugh's departure he's had back to back 11-win seasons. He's currently got his team in the top 5, and his team plays discplined football. On offense they play smash-mouth-in-your-face football, and on defense they make you earn it in the trenches. Just last year they held the most exciting college football offense to only 14 points. So I ask again...why hasn't David Shaw's name come up?
