Watched the whole game last night and I was ridiculously unimpressed with Baylor's DC. Guys were holding at almost every opportunity and sometimes even when they didn't need to because they had safety help.. Not to mention they allowed 52 points from a American conference team although UCF has been really good this year. They could never force a stop when they needed it and kept getting bad PI calls along with the holding calls. The announcers said that Briles has been great friends with the DC for years and years so it sounds like he'll be on Briles staff at Texas if he does accept the job. If that's true, maybe we need to go with another guy like Strong because I don't think talent is going to fix what that guys been doing. Eager to hear if I'm misreading this or how people think this effects Briles being a top candidate. I don't really want Texas to meddle in who the new HC wants for his staff but in this case I really hope that if Briles says yes, Texas says he needs to leave behind the DC.
