Agree on next week
Maybe a little premature
And for the record, I'm at work. I'll be incognito for the remainder of the day. I'm recording it at home.

The defense has got to put A&M's hopes on McGee's arm.
How...
WOW
Aggie gets X-mas present early.
This officiating crew is just flat out terrible.

He can push all he wants
Both players were fighting for the ball in the air. How do you determine who is more liable for the penalty? Aggie at one point was grabbing Sweed's throat.
It was a non-call and silly.
They missed that completion call in the 1st qtr and the refs continue lazy officiating.
Bad call

I can't believe
Hell
One more thing
Haven't been on...
As soon as I saw him line up on that 4th and 1, I knew that we were doomed.
Still, only down by 6 at half, we should be OK.
I'd be curious to know

Melton is dead to me
How big was Kansas State loss?
embarrased
Maybe, just maybe
Maybe it isn't the inexplicable love affair that Greg Davis has with Henry Melton (which is actually really disgusting to think about).
Maybe it isn't that A&M is exposing a run defense that's never really been tested (seriously, what was the last team that played Texas whose primary game plan was to RUN every play and not pass against this secondary).
Maybe its not any of those things. maybe, just maybe the guys all had a team meeting last night and decided that they just really really really don't want to play Boise St. in the Fiesta Bowl.
I don't think I'd blame them.
Defense
Second half keys
*The -contain- defense was pretty lousy, especially in the first quarter. Scott Derry, Marcus Griffin, Brian Robison, and Mike Griffin each had serious breakdowns on contain.
*Bobino's got to play better, though he improved after the first quarter.
*The running game is still just awful, and today it's a scheme problem. The running backs have no opportunity to get going.
*Red Zone offense. Obviously.
Colt needs to tuck and run on some of
the ball is just not bouncing our way
what a disgrace

That's how you lose to the Aggies.
hurry up offense
Cotton Bowl
The refs should at least kiss us
Terrible officiating, but to A&M's credit they came out inspired and Texas waiting until it was too late.
This throws the QB situation in to doubt. I think the door has just creaked open, just a hair, for Snead and others to compete.
This

Do you bring in Jevan?
Stick with Colt

A rich guy!
Screw this
Lost
I dont mind
It took a gimpy winged QB,
If I was an Aggie fan I would need a shower after that win and having to watch Fran cry during the interview. Then again, Aggies rarely shower, so who am I kidding?
Are we talking about the same Aggies?
I am simply
it also could have changed

by BrooklynHorn on Nov 24, 2006 2:34 PM CST up reply actions
I can see two blown calls,
However, I don't really like blaming the refs for most of these things. Texas should have come out and dominated. Instead, we were flat. The O-line was whipped around the end all day. We couldn't stop the option (see this game last year) when it mattered.
The refs might have given a few calls to atm, but don't kid yourself that we played well enough to win.
By your
There are plenty of ways to win.
If we would have at least played a decent game, I could be somewhat content. We were horrid, and there is plenty of targets to point fingers at for this one.
Were the refs a factor? Maybe. Was our inability to run the ball, and our inability to stop the option a factor? Definitely.
