I don't know much, but what I do know is Texas A&M will probably  foul early, hard, and often like Miss Texas School For The Deaf at a Mime convention.

This game will serve as just revenge for the game in college station last year.  KD will hit a buzzer 3 over Law for the win - similar to the shot last year, except we won't refer to it as 'the shot', won't make posters about it, and will only remember it for KD's greatness.

Whats the deal with Law's surging Big 12 POY run?
This guy is not as important to his team as Durant is to ours.  Our team is also one game behind them in conference with the chance to tie tonight.  So it's not like we're a bubble team and they're a one seed.

The main arguement seems to be that he is so clutch - which I see as just another way of stating that he is personally responsible for a lot of their victories.  Again, he can't match Durant in that department.

Not to mention he's completely outclassed in numbers, even ignoring the fact that Law's assist numbers maybe fraudulent.

1st Half Thoughts
Very solid effort.

On offense, DJ and Damion attacked the rim nicely and Durant was his usual amazing self. AJ contributed five points and even attacked the basket himself. Dex also contributed off the bench. You can't ask for much more on that end.

On defense, Texas really tried to confuse the Aggies. At times, we looked confused ourselves. Horns played man, 2-3, 3-2, and a box and 1 in the opening half. The zones didn't look good and let to way to many offensive rebounds. Horns might be better off staying in man in the second half. Good D on Law though. He hasn't hurt us at all. Also was helpful to have both Kav and Jones on the bench.

Defending the paint and rebounding remain crucial.

Up 7 pts though is huge.

I don't think that a&m could play the physical style of ball they do (read: illegal) if gillepsie didn't complain on EVERY call. I used to think I got really worked up by watching the football team struggle. These boys have damn near given me heart attacks numerous times this season. I'm not sure I can handle a deep tournament run.

That said, WOW. Damion James came into his own tonight in a big way.

Also, am I the only one who fantasized about Barnes putting Winder back into the game solely to punch Acie Law in the nose? Yeah, yeah, he's a great player, clutch, yadda, yadda. But he's doing it for a team that represents all that is evil and ugly in this world and consequently drives me to violent thoughts.
