At a point in which the Texas Longhorns have dropped four games in five outings and the future of Charlie Strong looks as bleak as ever, the Purple Wizard himself, Kansas State Wildcats head coach Bill Snyder, offered some comforting post-game words to the third-year Texas head coach.

After joking with Strong about each team doing its best to give the game away, Snyder told Strong to “hang in there.”
“I mean this from the bottom of my heart. You’re the guy for them. You are the guy,” he said.
Unfortunately for Strong, Snyder’s sentiments aren’t echoed any longer throughout much of the Texas fan base and by decision-makers on the 40 Acres.
If Strong is, in fact, the guy for Texas, he has five games left to prove it, but it’s probably already too late.
