Osterman was named Big 12 pitcher of the year for the fourth straight year, while Clark was named Coach of the Year, and Willis was named Defensive Player of the Year.

Cat "only" struck out 16 batters to lead the Horns to a game one victory over the University of Washington in the softball super regional. Game two is today at 3:00 p.m. CT. Texas needed Cat to be at her best, as they only managed one run against the Huskies. For Cat, most times one's enough.

Don't you try to hit my fastball!

If the Huskies win and a Game 3 is needed, the rubber match will be televised on ESPN2 at 8:00 p.m. Let's hope it doesn't get that far.

Just because we've pretty much exhausted the Google Images supply of Cat Osterman pictures doesn't mean the softball updates will cease. Yesterday, the Lady Horns were voted #1 in the country in the USA Today Coaches Poll for the first time this season.

Congratulations to Cat and the girls for getting to the top. Here's to hoping they win it all so we can get more Oster-pics up on the blog.
