Oklahoma State Prediction Thread
This is a pretty interesting game, all things considered. Saturday's matchup features two teams absolutely peaking on offense, while struggling a bit on defense. I don't think there's any question about which team has the better defense, but I also think that the Cowboys are playing sufficiently well on offense that we can't just take for granted that Texas will dominate this game.
I'm torn between how I think this game might play out. On the one hand, I think we're likely to see a few big plays for Oklahoma State that keep them in the thick of things in the early going. On the other hand, I feel like our defense is primed for a breakout game. The second half of the Tech game was a huge improvement from the first half obviously. Can Texas carry that positive momentum over to Saturday evening?
In my Pick Six selection, I called for a 38-27 Texas victory, but I think I'm going to revise that selection slightly. I think we'll see something between a great Texas defensive performance and a mediocre won. Something solid, but short of dominant. I still think Texas is going to put up points on offense. Longhorns win comfortably 38-21.

State gets lucky a few times
44-24
56-10
Kindle leads all tacklers with 12.
Crowder gets crunk to the tune of 3 sacks and a safety.
Texas only gives up one turnover to State's 5, including a Deon Beasley interception.
Texas wins 56-10 and don't be surprised if we see Jevan play the entire fourth.
I call off the assassination plot on one Ted Turner.

I'm sticking with my original prediction
UT 52 OSU 38

"Myth No. 2: The best running back on the field today will be Jamaal Charles.
Reality: Might be a myth, might not. We'd know better if Texas would let the sprint champion get the ball more.
Reasoning: That honor could go to Oklahoma State's Dantrell Savage although he hasn't had the carries to prove it. He's had only 52 carries for 417 yards but is averaging 8 yards a pop and has four touchdown runs, two from 70 and 60 yards. The juco transfer is faster than small-town gossip, deceptively strong despite a 5-9, 190-pound frame and very explosive. He's a great home-run threat but missed several games with a bum knee."
I agree with his first statement - Texas must get JC the ball more, especially against OSU's porous run defense. But how can you possibly think this undersized back is going to have a good day against the #2 run defense in the country? I think Bobby Reid ends up with more rush yards than either Savage or Hamilton tonight.

Lee Corso
Between Corso's antics and Herbstreit's Buckeye homerism, that program is becoming downright unwatchable. They've even got Kirk drinking the Louisville gatorade now.
Corso
Brand him
I won't forgive him for that mess even though he picked us to beat the "greatest team ever" last year.
the musers on the ticket
something like 9 straight weeks of corso gay references on signs at gameday.
the p1's are pretty amazing.
