USC is no different. They'll wait until the glove doesn't fit and then let him play the home opener.

Old News...

It was reported shortey after his arrest that because the incident happend so close to the end of the semester that he would probably be allowed to take his finals.

Is the rule in question an NCAA rule or a USC rule?

Before I'm called a homer, I feel it is preferential treatment no question about it. And if its a school rule then they can relax it as they feel. It doesn't mean its right though.

For the record I feel he should be dismissed. After all he did it right after attending rape awareness classes how stupid is that.
