Two on Oden
After a slow start, Memphis is rounding into form. Damn this Tigers team is athletic.
Memphis heating up
Starting to stroke from the outside. If they're hitting shots from the perimeter like they are right now, they're going to be near-impossible to defend.
Announcers?
Quick question, who are the announcers?
HELP! -- watching games online
CBS Sportsline apparently does not broadcast games after the Round of 16 (i.e., yesterday).
Given I am in Argentina -- where of course there is no local coverage -- can someone please tell me how I can watch the games online?
Many thanks.
Memphis
can take these guys if they play their game. and keeping Oden off the floor.
Tigers take the lead 52-51
Memphis' athletes start to wear you down after a while. They're deep, they're fast, they're strong... it's a bitch to play the Tigers.
We're set up for a very interesting final 13 minutes.
Wow
Intentional foul on Memphis gives Oden two free throws and Ohio State the ball. We're tied at 60-60, Douglas-Roberts just picked up his fourth foul, and that play very much had the feel of a "game changing" one.
Memphis on life support
Down eight now with two and a half minutes left. Douglas-Roberts just fouled out and the Tigers are more or less looking for perimeter miracles now.
This one's over.
Am I the only one annoyed
by the women screaming bloody murder at each OSU foul shot?
Good gawd, is she standing next to the sound mic or what?
Memphis is impressive, but just looks like a team out of sync.
The best game should be tomorrow with NC and Gtown. That is a must see game. IMO OSU would get throttled by either of those teams.
That will be a great game
after seeing both teams last night I think UNC is in for a long evening
UNC just doesn't seem able to hit
that next gear they should be capable of. It is very Roy William's vintage Kansas.
They are just too complete and high powered to get in to slug fests, like they did with USC.
I don't get it. They should be dominating people.
Gtown is the anti-NC. It should be a great matchup of diabolically opposed philosophies.
I'll say it
I love this UCLA-Kansas matchup.
As much as I wanted the Bruins to underperform like I predicted, they're an elite team. I was flat wrong.
This is a hell of a matchup.
WOW!
What a start to this game!
Ben Howland just called a timeout and I can guarantee you that he did it because the pace is SO fast right now. UCLA playing well so far, but this is not a pace they want...
Kansas looking outstanding
This is not a pace UCLA is comfortable with...
Adjustments needed ASAP.
Yup
Great game so far. Two great teams playing a game that really has that feel of a game that's for the right to go to the Final Four.
What a treat...
I wonder
if Joey Dorsey still thinks Greg Oden is "a lot overrated?" Still thinks if they are David v Goliath, that he is Goliath and Oden is David?
Greg Oden
24 minutes
17 points
3-6 free throws
1 block
Joey Dorsey
19 minutes
0 points
0-2 free throws
0 blocks
So happy for the Buckeyes!
Will all 4 #1 seeds make it to the Final Four for the first time ever? I think KS has the best chance of going down. Gtown is probably still thankful they made it past Vandy with the questionable ending. Good games all weekend!

Thank you
Thanks PB. I appreciate that. It had it's crazy moments but I am really excited if the Buckeyes can carry their 2nd half play into the next game. Georgetown bounced OSU out of the tourney last year and I would like to play them again. Of course UNC was the first loss for the team this year so it would be nice to avenge that loss as well.
The local radio station in Columbus, 1460theFan had an interview with David Robinson from the Sweet 16 game where he was in attendance. He said he felt Greg Oden should return to college next year because the NBA is hard on a center and a first round draft pick has a lot of pressure on him in the locker room and he thought Oden could use the growth period of another year. He said his first year he got pushed around by bigger centers. I hope Greg returns.
I know there probably won't be any OSU v Texas basketball or football in the near future but I enjoy the sports discussion at this site. So I'll check in now and then, especially during football! Would love to see OSU meet the Longhorns in a BCS game.

Kansas
Looks like they are starting to get some rhythm at just the right time.
