On the iTunes: Score from Crimson Tide (Hans Zimmer) Kevin Durant has been awarded Big 12 Player of the Year. (Freshman of the Year, too.) His fellow first team All Big 12ers are Acie Law, Brandon Rush, Julian Wright, Mario Boggan and Jarrius Jackson. DJ Augustin was named to the second All Big 12 team. Congrats to both players. (Chiken Wings Whineypants wins Coach of the Year for another excellent season at Texas A&M.)

The baseball team took care of business this weekend at the Disch, sweeping Oral Roberts 13-0, 5-3, and 5-1. Three more three-hit games for Bradley Suttle, who's just pasting the ball right now. Next up for the 'Horns is a Tuesday softie with Texas A&M Corpus Christie at 4:00 p.m.

The Big XII basketball tourney gets under way on Thursday, but all I can think about right now is this. I'm not sure Texas has enough to gain by winning the Big XII tournament to ride Durant very hard. Let him rest, coach. Ditto DJ Augustin.

If you've been anywhere near a television or radio with sports content over the past 12 hours, you're no doubt awhere of Elbow-gate from the end of the UNC-Duke game. Carolina March more or less nails my thoughts on it.
