Now THAT...

...was tacky, albeit true, and funny.

Sooners laid an egg, that's for sure.  Congrats to WVU who played lights-out and showed the nation what they were made of.

Glad y'all won your game.  At least someone is holding up their end of the Big 12...

Great blog you got here - thanks for letting me participate.  CaliSooner

Wow

We're not used to kind Sooner comments around here. Thanks for the pleasant surprise.

I hope...

... He doesn't go all "white power" on us.

Growing up, I only fed Jared Norton paper. That's why he eats plays.

No sweat

bro, I actually pull for the Horns when they're playing anybody but OU.  Actually my two favorite teams are OU and whoever is playing USC...

I'll buy you a cold one sometime - long as it's a Crimson Stout Ale  :-)  Pete

OK, seriously

Now you're just screwing up everyone's Sooner perception.

I dare say we may have the WacArnolds of Norman.  Welcome to BON.

I advised my adopted son to declare for the NFL draft, mostly because he owes me money.

That pretty much confirms it...

... he's not crazy like ol' what's-his-dump that kept saying everything sucked dick and eventually threw out a nice healthy "white power!"  Welcome to BON, redpants.

Wait...
DHAB?

Kidding...

Or am I...

?

Thanks!

...for the kind welcome.

'Redpants' - that's a good one; I might change my handle to that.

My pulling for the Horns probably comes from my having lived in Denton for 4 years, plus I have a bunch of relatives and out-laws oops I mean in-laws in Alvin and Pearland.

Now, having said all that, I'll leave you with this one:

What's the best thing to come out of Texas?

I-35 Northbound!  :-)

Happy Friday!  Pete

I like

how this is the 4th egg he's laying.  Nice attention to detail.

Big 12 Bowl record

Now that Kansas has won the Orange Bowl, the Big 12 finished with 5 wins and 3 losses overall.  If Colorado had just been able to beat Alabama, it would have been a perfect bowl season.

On a related note, can we move the Texas - OU game to January?  Make it a BCS Bowl game, please.  While we are dreaming, can we grab the WVU defensive coordinator before he gets to Michigan?

I like how....

they Photoshopped him into cleats. Nice touch.

And I also like how he's taking his dump right on the BCS logo.

Horn mirror image?

It is too funny to see the comments on the Crimson and Cream blog -- bowl prep "too hard", fire the OC, players selfishly making stupid decisions, etc. Maybe we, myself the chief culprit, make Stoops out to be a superman, since he kicks our butts with too much regularity.  But we might have a stilted view, because when we have to see him, his guys are breathing fire.  Other times, they look quite human.  He got them up for two games this year, UT and Missouri.  Three times, they were pretty flat.  Why do we think he is superman?

It just...

...happens for some reason.  Same thing every year - play hard a couple games and then they decide not to show up, or they take the first half off.

Friend of mine was at the game.  He said during pre-game warmups, WVU was jumping around, fired up, going nuts.  OTOH the Sooners were milling around, warming the bench, chatting, ho-hum another day at the office kinda thing.
