2008 Big XII Helmet Schedule
Bumped. Many thanks, jc25...
After seeing the Pac-10 and SEC versions, I decided to waste an unnecessary amount of time creating the 2008 Big XII Helmet Schedule.
Just for added touch, I changed the helmets for each of the last games of the year (generally a rivalry game) to a helmet from the team's past. Obviously I'm not too versed in each team's favorite retro helmet, so I used best discretion trying for differing color and/or logo; for example, I pulled the '69-'71 helmet for the Baylor Bears. Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica.
Note: You can also see the large image version by clicking on the image or download the Excel version by clicking here. Helmets and schedules thankfully pulled from nationalchamps.net. Excelsior!
Update [2008-3-12 18:9:48 by HornsFan]: Community work at its finest, as BoddickerIsClutch has taken JC's spreadsheets and taken them high res:
If anyone wants higher res, without going through the trouble yourself:
Managable Higher Res
(800k around 2000x1000)
Or the big daddy:
The Big Daddy
(6megs around 6000x3000)
Thanks for the original JC.

Cool, hope you dont mind...
I wanted a higher resolution version, so I created some from your spreadsheet.

awesome
That is awesome; thanks for doing that.
Looking to our friends in the North, it looks like Mizzou has the easiest schedule. In non-conf they only play Illinios and from the B12 South it's us, Baylor and OSU. Not much competition for them to get to the B12 Championship.
I'm psyched that we have both Mizzou and KU on the schedule. Those games will be great.

Didn't realize it until I saw it in pictures.
I did not realize we have OU and Missouri back-to-back. Hope we can stay focused and healthy. And is it just me, or is anyone else a little bit worried about the UTEP game. They will be fired up for this one and after all the upsets last year anything can happen. I don't think they can hang with us for 4 quarters though.
I was also worried about playing @ Colorado the week before OU considering what happened to OU last year @ Colorado. But, looking at Colorado's out-of-conference schedule, they are going to be pretty beat up with West Virginia then @ Florida State leading up to our match-up.
Is it really only March?
