I like him so far, but...

he's a SOONER! he was a LB there during our back-to-back championships.
but he has a nice coaching resume, most notably being Arizona's DC in the "desert swarm" years (early 90s)

Is it just me?

This guy looks, by looks i mean appearance, like GD?  Im not being negative and you shouldnt judge a book by its cover but i was hoping for someone a little more "rugged" looking.  Someone that will rule the D with an iron fist and make our LB's want to rip opposing offensive players heads off then go burn their villages and slaughter the livestock.

But i guess we are all gonna have to wait till next Sept to see.

Speaking of schedules, the Rice and TCU games might be interesting with the success those 2 teams have had recently.  It was just last season that the land thieves lost to TCU first game of the year.
