2007 Schedule Update: TCU, Rice Games Set + New TV Deal
Just announced: Big 12 sports has announced that Fox Sports Net has agreed to sublicense a handful of Big 12 football game to the Versus television network. (Hat Tip and welcome back to 12th Manchild).
This is not to replace games on FSN - it's only to show them on a "national" network, as well. Good news if you're not in the FSN SW area and you're one of the eleven people with Versus.
More relevant to Texas: the press release includes some start times for Texas games.
September 8, vs TCU: 6:00 p.m. - TV: FSN and Versus
September 22, vs Rice: 6:00 p.m. - TV: FSN and Versus
Good to know.

versus
I like the versus network. I get it on my dish network. I've been watching them lately for the America's Cup coverage. As I understand it they will just be re broadcasting not actually covering it themselves? but they do a good job.

Versus broadcasts MWC games.
Which doesn't matter, since it looks like this will just be a FSN feed and not a game actually broadcast by Versus.

No Texas games (as of now)?
Looks like (from the Big 12 site) that the only game scheduled on Versus right now is Iowa @ Iowa State on Sept. 15.
