I told my wife (who cares less about football, other than when OU loses, and I'm in the doldrums) I was number 2 in a Longhorn pick 'em pool. She said I better not be gambling. I said, heck no, at most the winner gets a Longhorn t-shirt or something like that. She just laughed like what on earth would I do with that.

Should have known better about Oregon. Washington was an easy pick. Wavered on SF/Auburn, but went with the home team.

Good weekend for the Big XII. I hope Nebraska puts up a fight against USC. Last year they played not to lose badly. Pac 10 looks strong this year.

Nice turn around, UT, in the 2nd half to dispatch TCU.
