Done Deal: BON Acquires Exclusive Audio Of Major Applewhite Hiring Tape

Burnt Orange Nation has secured a copy of an audio recording Mack Brown used to help sway Major Applewhite to return to Texas from Alabama. Sources say the tape was instrumental in wooing the popular former Texas quarterback away from Tuscaloosa.

i heard

mack brown makes a tape like that for all incoming staff, as well as the top recruits. it's why we always have such great recruits here

most hilarious audio tape that I have ever heard from BON. Great job to impersonate Mack and thanks for sharing your fun with us, PB.

One of your sound byte portrayed Mack apologized to Major about Simms' qb debacle. Everyone thought if Mack lets Major plays the whole game back on 2001 Big 12 title against Colorado, we would beat Colorado and then selected to play against Miami for the National Championship.

And now, Mack handed him an asst. HC position. In a few yrs, he may let Major to take over the team. If it happens, THAT is a very big apology from Mack to Major.

Anyhow, I am sure every Longhorns will has an utmost joy & excitement that no word can describe as we are about to witness the very 1st press conference from Major at 10am.
