"Talking to some of the (current OU) players, no one had a lot of positive things to say about OU," Edwards said. "It was more, like, negative."
Additionally, Edwards said, he wasn't thrilled with the "vibe" of Norman.
"It was a real small town with really no social life there," he said. "After football season, you want to be somewhere you can socialize and all that stuff." - ESPiN Insider ($)
I have a good idea about where I want to go go to school and that's LSU."
I know we are going to get to Texas for sure this spring or early summer."
Last week, I thought Johnathan made up his mind that he was going to Texas, but who knows."
I actually liked Texas a lot. My dad wants me to commit, but I’m going to take a while to think about it. I like Texas more than Texas A&M, but those are the only two places I’ve been."
I’m not down to four schools. Those are the four schools that I’ve really been looking hard at so far, but like I told a couple of coaches, those four can change and can change in a day if I see something that I like elsewhere. I’m open to making adjustments real quick."
"One of the schools in my top four - Florida State - hasn’t offered yet, but I’ve been keeping in close contact with Coach (D.J.) Elliot. Texas, too. Those two are probably the two that, if they would offer, would make things interesting."
Magee is as physically gifted as any defensive line prospect in the 2012 class. Against Pleasanton he played middle linebacker in dime packages and he showed quick feet and ran very well. His closing speed and burst to the ball in space is exceptional. He changes directions well. He holds the point well and does a great job of using his hands to create leverage. He's active with his hands and doesn't give linemen a chance to fit up on him. He's got good burst off of the edge. He played at end with his hand on the ground, but because of his size he could be easily as effective playing closer to the football."
